BAKED POTATOES WITH CHEESE

Peel and cut 8 potatoes into thin pieces but not fully. Grease a deep pan, put the potatoes in it, season with salt, pepper and put a piece of butter on each potato. Top with grated cheese and bake in the oven. You can serve the baked potatoes with lettuce.
NEW BAKED POTATOES

Boil 10 peeled new potatoes in salty water and drain. Place them in a pan, add 1 cup of sour cream and sprinkle with grated cheese and melted butter and bake in the oven. Sprinkle with chopped greens and dress with melted butter before serving.

BAKED POTATOES WITH HERRING BUTTER

Wash and rub 8 potatoes of the same size with salt, bake in the oven, wrap them up in a napkin and serve hot on a plate. Rub 1 herring with 4 tablespoons of butter and 2 chopped boiled eggs and serve with the potatoes.

NEW POTATOES FRIED WHOLE

Peel, wash and drain 10 new potatoes. Place them on a heated pan with melted butter and salt. Cover with a lid and cook over low heat. When the potatoes color golden brown, turn them upside down carefully, cover with a lid again and fry until ready. The potatoes should be golden brown but not stiff. You can serve the potatoes separately or with fried meat, cutlets or fish.
POTATOES FRIED IN PIECES

Boil 10 potatoes with their skin on. Cool, peel and cut them into thin pieces and salt. Place them on a heated pan with 5 tablespoons of melted butter or 80 grams of salted pork fat and fry stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with chopped greens before serving.

FRIED POTATOES

Wash and cut 10 potatoes into pieces and wash them in cold water. Drain them in a colander. Salt, place in a 5 centimeter thick layer on a heated pan with 5 tablespoons of butter and fry until ready. Dress with melted butter and sprinkle with chopped greens before serving. You can serve the potatoes with onions sautéed in advance.

DEEP FAT FRIED POTATOES

Peel and cut 10 potatoes into strips, put them in cold water for 10 minutes, then wash and drain them. Place the potato strips in a heated greased pan and fry until golden brown stirring occasionally. Place the prepared potatoes in a colander to filter the fat, add salt, sprinkle with parsley or dill greens and serve.
FRIED POTATOES WITH A GARLIC SAUCE

Heat oil in a pan. Place peeled, washed and drained potatoes in it (cut big potatoes into 2-3 pieces in advance and leave smaller ones whole). Fry the potatoes until golden brown. Make the garlic sauce for dressing: crush the garlic with salt, add oil and mix. Take out the fried potatoes with a straining spoon, add salt and dress with the sauce.

INGREDIENTS: 10 potatoes, 5 tablespoons of butter, 6 cloves of garlic, salt.
FRIED POTATOES WITH ONIONS AND MUSHROOMS

Fry sorted fresh mushrooms and onions in melted butter separately. Mix the potatoes, fried in advance, with the onions and mushrooms. Sprinkle with chopped greens and serve.

INGREDIENTS: 10 potatoes, 600 grams of fresh mushrooms, 3 onions, 8 tablespoons of butter, greens, salt.
MINCED FISH BALLS WITH POTATOES

Mince filleted fish with onions. Add 1 egg, salt, pepper and mix well. Peel and mash the potatoes, boiled with their skin on, add 1 egg, salt, and mix well. Make round cakes from the prepared mixture, put the fish filling on each of them, seal in the shape of balls, roll them in flour and fry from both sides in oil. Dress the fish balls with sour cream.

INGREDIENTS: 8 potatoes, 500 grams of filleted fish, 1 onion, 2 eggs, 3 tablespoons of flour, 3 tablespoons of butter, 3 tablespoons of sour cream, salt, pepper.

FRIED POTATOES WITH SQUASHES

Peel the potatoes, slice and fry them until golden brown. Peel the squashes, remove the seeds, slice, add salt and pepper, roll in flour and fry both sides in oil until golden brown. Dish the potatoes, put the squash slices around them, top with fried onions, dress with melted butter, garnish with red tomato wedges and greens.

INGREDIENTS: 8 potatoes, 1 squash, 1/2 cup of oil, 2 onions, 2 tomatoes, 2 tablespoons of flour, 2 tablespoons of butter, salt, pepper, greens.

FRIED POTATOES WITH PRUNES
Soak prunes in water for 2-3 hours. Cut washed and boiled potatoes into pieces and fry them a little. Add the prunes, salt and keep frying until ready.
INGREDIENTS: 10 potatoes, 8-10 prunes, 4 tablespoons of butter, salt.
FRIED POTATOES WITH AN OMELETTE

Cut the potatoes into small cubes, fry them in butter, add the eggs mixed with milk and bake in the oven. Add fried onions to the potatoes. Sprinkle with chopped greens before serving.

INGREDIENTS: 8-10 potatoes, 4 tablespoons of butter, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup of milk, 2 onions, salt, greens.

POTATO CUTLETS

Boil the potatoes, mash them, add eggs and mix. Make cutlets from the mixture, crumb and fry. Serve with butter, sour cream or a mushroom sauce.

INGREDIENTS: 9 potatoes, 3 tablespoons of bread-crumbs, 2 tablespoons of butter, 2 eggs, salt.
