POTATO SALAD WITH CABBAGE

Boil, cool, peel and cut 5 potatoes into thin pieces. Chop white cabbage thinly (200 grams), add salt and squeeze it until juice comes out. Pour in a mixture of vinegar, sugar, salt and stir. Put the potatoes on the middle of a salad bowl forming a mountain. Sprinkle them with chopped fennel. Put the cabbage on both sides also in the shape of a mountain, place pickled cucumber slices and dress it all with 2 tablespoons of oil.

KAZAKH SALAD

Peel and boil 3 potatoes and 1 carrot. Fry 300 grams of beef without bone. Cut all the ingredients as well as 2 pickled cucumbers and 2 fresh apples into thin pieces. Boil 3 potatoes and 300 grams of beef. Cut these ingredients as well as 100 grams of herring, 3 pickled cucumbers and 1 fresh apple into small cubes. Toss and dress with 1 cup of sour cream mixed with 1 tablespoon of mustard. Garnish the salad with boiled egg rings and greens.

POTATO SALAD WITH MEAT

Cut 5 boiled potatoes, 2 pickled cucumbers, 200 grams of boiled beef into small dices. Add 60 grams of green peas, toss and salt. Dress with 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise and sprinkle with chopped fennel. You can also add chopped sweet cayenne to this salad.

Boil 4 potatoes with their skin on. Peel and cut them into small pieces, add 100 grams of chopped pickled mushrooms, 1 onion and toss. Add salt to taste, dress with 4 tablespoons of sour cream or mayonnaise.

POTATO SALAD WITH VEGETABLES AND HERRING

Cut 2 potatoes, 1 boiled egg, 1 fresh tomato and 1 cucumber into thin semi-circles. Chop 1 herring fillet, 30 grams of green salad and ½ of onion into pieces. Combine the ingredients, add 30 grams of green peas, dress with ½ cup of mayonnaise and add salt to taste. Sprinkle with chopped fennel before serving.

POTATO SALAD WITH ONIONS

Boil 7 potatoes with their skin on. Peel and slice them, cut 2 onions into rings. Squeeze the onions with salt until soft. Add the onions to the potatoes and toss. Pour ½ cup of salad dressing over it and garnish with greens.

POTATO SALD WITH CORN AND APPLES

Boil 2 potatoes with their skin on, peel and cut them into thin pieces. Boil 600 grams of corn ears and separate the corn. Peel and cut 2 apples into pieces. Combine the ingredients, add salt to taste, pour 4 tablespoons of salad dressing over it. Garnish the salad with lettuce leaves, sprinkle with chopped fennel and chives.

CRACKER SALAD

Peel and cut 3 fresh cucumbers into pieces, add 100 grams of potato crackers, fried in deep fat, add 100 grams of chopped chives. Dress the salad with 1 glass of sour cream.
