RHOMB BROTH
Peel and mash 5 potatoes, boiled with their skin on. Soften 5 tablespoons of butter and combine with the potatoes, add 3 egg yolks, 6 tablespoons of flour, 4 tablespoons of milk, baking soda, salt, 3 beaten into foam egg-whites. Spread the mixture thinly over a well greased baking sheet. Make the surface even with a wet knife, and bake it in the oven. Cut the baked potato mixture in the shape of small rhombs. Serve the rhombs on plates with a hot meat broth or vegetable water.
POTATO SOUP
Prepare a meat broth. Cut 12 peeled potatoes into cubes and put them into the boiling broth, bring to a boil. Cut 1 carrot, 1 parsley root, 1 onion into rings and fry with the butter. Add the ingredients in the boiling broth and boil until ready. 5-10 minutes to finishing boiling add salt, pepper, aroma bay leaves to taste. Sprinkle with chopped greens before serving.
NEW POTATO SOUP
Wash, peel and cut 8 potatoes into pieces. Peel and chop 400 grams of vegetables (carrots, cabbage, celeries, parsley, onions). Boil them in salty water until tender. Add the prepared potatoes in the vegetable broth and keep boiling. Pour in 2 tablespoons of flour, dissolved in the broth, salt, boil thoroughly, add 4 tablespoons of sour cream and chopped parsley or dill greens 5-10 minutes to finishing boiling.

SOUR CREAM SOUP
Peel and boil 8 potatoes adding chopped caraway to taste. Dress the potato broth with 1 glass of sour cream mixed with 2 tablespoons of flour. Add 4 chopped boiled eggs, salt to taste, parsley greens, dill to the soup.
POTATO SOUP WITH SORREL
Cut 7 potatoes and 1 parsley root into pieces, put them in a boiling meat broth. Sauté 1 carrot and 1 onion and put them in the broth in 5 minutes. Add 300 grams of chopped sorrel and salt to taste 10 minutes to finishing boiling. Dress with 4 tablespoon of sour cream and serve.
POTATO SOUP WITH TOMATOES
Put 8 diced potatoes and ½ parsley root in the boiling water. Dice 1 carrot, 1 onion and 1 turnip, salt, fry and mix with the soup. Put wedges of 3 slightly fried tomatoes on a plate before serving. Dress with 2 tablespoons of sour cream and sprinkle with chopped greens.
MILK SOUP WITH POTATOES AND BARLEY CEREAL
Put 3 tablespoons of barley cereals in the boiling water and boil until tender. Add 6 potatoes cut into pieces and keep boiling until ready. Add 2 litres of milk, bring to a boil, dress with 1 tablespoon of butter.
MILK SOUP WITH POTATOES AND PUMPKIN
Peel and dice 6 potatoes. Peel a pumpkin, remove the seeds and dice. Put the potatoes, 2 glasses of the cut pumpkin in the boiling salty water and boil until ready. Pour in 1 litre of milk, 0,5 tablespoons of butter and bring to a boil.
MOLDAVIAN SOUP “CHORBEH”
Cut 1 carrot, 2 parsley roots, 1 onion, fry the ingredients slightly and pour in 1 tablespoon of vinegar and fry until it evaporates. Add 6 potatoes in a chicken broth made from 400 grams of chicken and boil until half ready, then add the sautéed roots, 1 tablespoon of flour, red ground pepper and boil until ready. Put pieces of chicken and sour cream on a plate before serving.
POTATO SOUP WITH SOY BEANS
Cut 1 onion and fry it, add the sautéed flour and dissolve the mixture in 2 litres of meat broth. Soak the soy beans for 12-15 hours in the boiled water. Boil them in the same water over low heat until tender. Put the boiled soy beans in the soup 1 hour to finishing boiling, add spices. Put 6 potatoes in the soup 25-30 minutes before serving.
